Childcare & Kindergarten

Childcare & Kindergarten

Our service offers a curriculum inspired by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), tailored to each age group. Programs include nature-based experiences, art activities, STEAM and a school readiness curriculum. Our toddler program encourages curiosity, independence and early social skills as children begin exploring the world with growing confidence.
This means families have the flexibility for their child/ren to receive the highest quality learning experiences on days that best support them. As a leader, I  focus on empathy, transparency, and continuous improvement to ensure families feel heard, children feel safe, and educators are supported to grow. As a proud mum of six and “Nanny” to ten grandchildren, I understand the trust families place in us and the importance of positive early learning experiences. When your child starts, our educators will take the  time to get to know your child’s routine, interests, comfort items and individual needs.
We welcome special guests from the local Pakenham community, such as police, the fire brigade, and pet ownership experts, to support children’s interests. These visits foster a sense  of belonging and help children develop social and observational skills with various people, places, childcare near pakenham and environments. They are committed to ensuring every child is respected, cared for, and supported with the resources they need to expand their learning. Our Government-approved Kindergarten program is delivered by Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers and helps children build confidence for a smooth start to school.

Our centre promotes sustainability through various initiatives, including recycling, maintaining worm gardens, and cultivating a large, expansive vegetable garden. These activities teach children about environmental responsibility and the importance of caring for our planet. We create Individual Learning Plans for each child, based on their interests, strengths and developmental goals, and partner with families to regularly review and update each plan. Our longstanding educator team provides  consistency and strong relationships with families, with some educators having more than 20 years of service. Seven of Goodstart’s award-winning team members have returned from an international ‘Discovering Next Practice’ professional learning experience in New Zealand. Indoors, bright and engaging learning spaces encourage creativity, collaboration, and discovery through play.
These resources help reinforce learning themes, encourage parent involvement, and create meaningful opportunities for connection at home. Every staff in here put every effort into creating a community that nurtures and uncovers each child’s personality. The team here is a village that support the family and works together to achieve goals and milestones!! If you are looking for the most loving, caring and fun childcare then look no further. I would highly recommend Aspire Early Education Pakenham to care for your most precious gift.

Children learn about nutrition, food origins, and balanced meals through practical experiences and daily routines. Aligned with national guidelines and Montessori life-skills principles, the program supports physical health, independence, and informed food choices. I strive to be open, honest, and approachable with both children and families, while making learning exciting, engaging, and tailored to build on each child’s strengths. When supporting families, I draw on my years of experience to clearly explain the benefits of early childhood education and care and how it complements learning at home.
Sessional kindergarten is a standalone program that usually runs for 15 hours a week during school terms. If a centre is full, our Family Support team will place your child on our waitlist. I began my early childhood career in 1990 while completing my Diploma in Child Care and have worked in senior educator and leadership roles for over 20 years, becoming a Centre Manager in 2000. We’re proud to be the only early learning provider certified three times as a Great Place to Work and named as one of Australia’s Best Workplaces. We’ve been recognised for our commitment to wellbeing, inclusion, and innovation because creating inspiring environments starts with creating an inspiring workplace. When your path leads to Story House, you’ll find a place where the pieces just fit.
Settling in looks different for every child, so we work closely with families to help children feel safe, supported and ready to learn. Before your child’s first day, you may be invited to attend a Stay and Play session. This gives your child time to explore the centre, meet their educators, and start feeling comfortable in their new environment.
Our staff members work collaboratively with the children and help them accomplish the development goals. We encourage families to book a campus tour first, so you can meet our educators and explore our safe, inspiring learning environments. Our team will support you through orientation, required documents, and funding options such as the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and Free Kinder. Through rich conversations, storytelling, phonetic awareness, and intentional educator guidance, children build vocabulary, comprehension, and expressive language skills. Aligned with EYLF v2.0, VEYLDF, and the National Quality Standard, the program nurtures language as a foundation for connection, learning, and success. The Bush Kinder Program at Inspire Pakenham connects children with nature through outdoor exploration and play-based learning in natural environments.
